Disclaimer

Warning, this game is only for users that wants to go deep into the maths behind poker.

Objectives

Try to get as close as possible to the correct pot odds in the situation presented.

The closer you are the more you score. The higher the level the trickier the situations are.

Opponent Range

The opponent range represents a series of hands you have put the opponent on.

Eache of the hands are equally likely.

Example:
If the range consists of three hands, there is a 33% chance that your opponent holds anyone of the hands.

Your task is to calculate how your hand plays against the range and decide what a correct call would be.

Scoring

If you guess the exact amount you will receive 60 points.

The score is decreased the further you are from the correct guess.

If you are reasonably close to the correct value you will also receive a time bonus that depends on how fast you answered.

Lives

You start off with 5 lives, each time you answer is too far away from the correct value you lose 1 life.

When your lives reaches 0 the game is over. For every new level you will receive 1 life up to a maximum of 5 lives.

Game Over

The game ends when you have completed all 10 levels or when you have lost all your lives.

Example

You hold Ac Kc, the board is Qd Tc 7h 2d and there is 1000 in the pot.

The opponent range is Qc 8d and Jd Jc.

First of all we need to calculate the number of outs and win percentage you have against each of the hands in the range:
To Qc 8d: 10 outs approx 20%
To Jd Jc: 8 outs approx 16%

Our average winning percentage is 18% (20+16)/2.

If we win 18% of the hands, we need a little more than 4 times (100/18)-1 the money to break even. So we can call anything up to around $300 (1000+300)/300 = 4.3 times the money.
